Established in 2006 as Fendercare Marine (M) Sdn. Bhd., the company rebranded itself as FMM Sdn. Bhd. in 2023 to reflect a stronger identity and renewed focus on growth. With licensing and certification from the Malaysian Marine Department since 2007, and an exemplary safety record, FMM has become a preferred provider of ship-to-ship (STS) transfer services in Malaysia and the region.

As part of the globally recognised James Fisher Group, which operates over 50 STS bases worldwide, FMM benefits from more than 20 years of international expertise while maintaining strong local capabilities. The company currently operates two Floating Storage Units (FSUs) at Johor Bahru Port Limit and Tanjung Pelepas, with additional facilities available for spot STS operations.
